Sustainable catering

Region College works closely with the caterer to offer healthy and sustainable food to students and employees. The Regio College is being used as a testing ground for initiatives to create healthier and more sustainable offerings. For example, free fruit is offered every month. It has been agreed with the caterer that at least once a year the supply in the canteen will be surveyed using the Nutrition Center's Canteen Scan and the outcome reported to the management and Executive Board. There is also regular annual consultation in the form of a platform with the student council about the supply. Additional wishes that fit within the healthy offer are included.

The partnership has resulted in a Golden Bowl canteen and winning The Golden Best in 2020. The Golden Best for Best Client Catering focuses on clients who succeed in making catering add value to their business or organization.
