Learning Together for Sustainable Development

In the Sustainability Skills program, members of the Learning for Tomorrow cooperative examined how vocational education can train young people for the circular transition. In different regions, teachers, professors and school leaders in vmbo, mbo and hbo experimented with ways to involve issues of sustainable development in their environment in the education they provide. To stimulate supra-regional knowledge development on this theme, four members of Learning for Tomorrow organized a number of Communities of Practices (CoPs).

In this white paper, we describe the added value of these Communities of Practice within the Sustainability Skills program. We provide concrete tips for setting up and implementing Communities of Practice. These tips are useful and applicable for (future) facilitators of newly established Communities of Practice, focused on Learning for Sustainable Development.
