Who we are
We are a movement of concerned people and organizations in Breda. Doers and thinkers from all walks of life. Residents, students, teachers, researchers, entrepreneurs, supporters, policy makers and patrons. We are MEE-MAKERS who join hands from a shared ambition.
As MEE-MAKERS, we are working toward a society where everyone feels respected and heard, everyone contributes and everyone is seen. A society in which people know how to find themselves and each other and are self-reliant.
What we do
Based on the needs of the people of the city, we work together on 4 major
themes:

- Digitization & Smart Technology
- Sustainability & Energy Transition
- Smart Mobility & Logistics.
We strive for transdisciplinary and multilevel collaborations linked to local social issues. By strengthening each other in collaborative workshops, by inspiring each other in joint actions and projects.
We create a context-rich and real-world learning experience for our students, faculty and researchers. Alignment occurs both internally within the various organizations and between the municipality and knowledge institutions.
