Who we are
Eco-Schools is the global movement of schools working with students to think and act sustainably. Worldwide, 59,000 schools in 68 countries are already participating in the program! Using seven steps, students examine the school and work on actions to make it more sustainable.
What we do
The core of Eco-Schools is that students are at the center. Eco-Schools' Seven-Step Plan helps the Eco-team get started in concrete terms. Schools that work on the five pillars of Eco-Schools qualify for the Green Flag, the international seal of approval for sustainable schools.
