Ontwerp zonder titel (2)

The journey from initiative to obtaining City Council approval for construction projects is often a lengthy and complex process.

The new construction of the Coenecoop College in Waddinxveen brought with it several issues. Ivor Bergsma, Rector Coenecoop College, and experts will provide insight into how opportunities and risks were addressed, including staff engagement, translating educational to housing vision, environmental design and operating choices.

We will conclude the substantive program with drinks, where you will have the opportunity to exchange knowledge and experiences informally. Sign up via this link.

About the new building
The new Coenecoop College in Waddinxveen was designed to support the school's innovative educational concept. The school provides education to approximately 1,000 students at various levels (vmbo to vwo) and symbolizes innovative education, sustainability and community involvement. The building has an open and light appearance and accommodates a variety of learning and collaboration methods. The building is designed with clear vision and walking routes, so that upon entry it is clear where everything is located. The greenery of the surrounding grounds is integrated into the atrium and the school itself. The transparent facades maximize the interaction between inside and outside.
