The 1e edition of the Conference on Sustainability Didactics will take place at April 12, 2024.
How do we teach about sustainability so that our students don't just see problems, but develop a hopeful perspective? A perspective that shows that choices and actions matter and that the future is not a fait accompli. How do you inform students while avoiding pitfalls such as driving paralyzing fear? How do we apply sustainability education concretely in our education?
Refreshing Perspectives on Sustainability Education
For students to look to the future with hope, we need to rethink our educational goals and explore innovative didactic approaches. Perhaps the approach will be very different from what we are used to.
This conference will inspire teachers to motivate students for a hopeful future. You will take away fresh ideas, didactic opportunities and teaching materials around various sustainability topics that can be directly applied in your teaching. There is also a focus on the psychological and emotional backgrounds that influence students' thinking and actions regarding sustainability.
