This starting memorandum provides an exploration for nature-inclusive education, conducted as part of the Nature Inclusive Agenda, education domain.

Underlying the starting memorandum is an inventory study based on literature review, surveys and interviews. Both theory and practice, past and present are highlighted.

  • What does or does not constitute "nature-inclusive" education?
  • What practices and perspectives are useful to explore further?
  • Where are the discussion points and areas of tension?

This attempted to provide an overview of what nature-inclusive education can or could mean, and what aspects are already being practiced today.
