Publication of IPCC's sixth climate report

Once again, we are being confronted with the facts. The urgency to limit climate change and take drastic measures is undeniable. The 6th scientific report of the IPCC (UN climate panel) has just been published, which serves as the basis for the climate policies of governments worldwide. Antonio Guterres (UN Secretary General) calls the report code red for humanity.

Among other things, the report states that the rate of climate change is unprecedented in the last 2,000 years (and possibly longer), with aspects of the changes (such as sea level rise) threatening to become irreversible for a period of possibly thousands of years. The role of humans in climate change is certain and has been called "unequivocal.

Of great importance is that we take this seriously and take action. The formation offers an opportunity to do this (in the Netherlands) and to embed its importance. Sign the sustainable education manifesto & sustainable coalition agreement!
