The purpose of World Citizenship Day is to make students more global citizens and make them more aware of the world they live in. How do you become a good global citizen? What do you face as a world citizen?
All second-year students of CIOS Zuidwest Nederland, a collaborative college of Scalda and ROC da Vinci College, from the locations Goes, Roosendaal and Dordrecht, came to Goes to experience this morning together. The groups were formed by classes and each class had a study coach or class supervisor with them who took the class along. The classes experienced together a Do, In conversation with... and a documentary with discussion forms. Finally, they were given 3 snacks from another culture to finish.
