The free SDG lessons for po, vo/mbo, or hbo (three different lessons) were developed by educational developers, teachers and students. Annually, the lessons are re-adapted and made available to all schools in September to be given around SDG Action Day (Sept. 25) and Education Sustainability Day (Oct. 10). Last year, 2022, 680 classes signed up!
Each introductory lesson on the Sustainable Development Goals consists of a powerpoint with fun assignments, videos, a quiz and an SDG impact meter for the entire school.
Sign up can here. After registering, we will give you access to the course materials.
You can register your school and indicate the number of classes you are participating with. You and your colleagues can choose to teach the classes yourself or call on a guest teacher.
There is also the opportunity to sign yourself up as a guest teacher/volunteer. We have an online system to connect guest teachers and schools. If signed up, you will receive a login in mid-September with which you can search for a school to then make an appointment.
Preparation
In the form you can indicate if you want to participate in a preparatory training online. In it, we will walk through the class together and there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. Dates:
