SDG Masterclass for Teachers: Didactics of Hope

VO-voor-Morgen_HansvanderWoerd-116

Would you like to do more with the 17 World Goals in your lessons? Or would you like to discover how you can firmly anchor Learning for Sustainable Development in the education of your school? And would you like to meet colleagues from other schools in primary, secondary, intermediate and higher education? Then take part in this Masterclass.

This time we put the didactics of hope at the center:

  • How do you pay attention to "hot" topics like poverty and the climate crisis without depressing your pupils or students, but instead activating them to contribute to a solution?
  • In doing so, how can you provide ample space for emotions?
  • How do you appeal to the imagination of students and pupils, bringing the SDGs to life?

We are organizing this celebratory event for teachers and guest lecturers who have the 17 world goals lesson have given. If you are otherwise working on the SDGs in education, you are also welcome.

APPLY can here.
Participation is free. We will provide soup and a sandwich.

Facilitators: Wieneke Maris (geography teacher & teacher for climate), Tim Favier (teacher trainer at Utrecht University), Peter Luijten (network coordinator Learning for Tomorrow)
