Do you think it is important to pay attention to nature, climate and social sustainability in your lessons? And do you have the desire to share lesson ideas and inspiration with fellow teachers from other schools? Then join the PO for Tomorrow community.
Next meeting:
Wednesday, March 29, 3 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Online, via Zoom
Theme: Outdoor lesson
Outdoor class is fun, healthy and good for the learning performance. Discovering nature around the school while playing and - for example - vegetable gardening are unique learning experiences, with which we plant the proverbial seeds for an environmentally conscious attitude in the future. Math, art education and world orientation subjects can also be taught outside: this stimulates the creativity and involvement of students. During this meeting we will share lesson ideas. For inspiration for National Outdoor Learning Day (April 4) and - hopefully - many teaching days thereafter. We also reflect on embedding outdoor lessons in the school plan.

We organize an online meeting every 2 months. In between, we sometimes organize on-site activities. The themes are chosen by the teachers themselves, by mutual agreement.
