The annual Sustainable Teacher Election honors the most innovative and forward-thinking teachers in education. A sustainable teacher is an inspiring innovator who involves students, colleagues and external parties in developing and delivering sustainable education and in creating actionable perspectives for the new generation. The award ceremony will be preceded by a sustainable education market, followed by a unique theatrical experience, "The Court of the Future," in which nature has its say, and plenty of time to network with sustainable pioneers in education. Climate change, biodiversity loss, injustice and international conflicts. These are topics that also quickly lead to polarization and high-stakes discussions in the classroom. But the topics cannot be separated from learning for sustainable development. How can we translate emotions and differences into understanding and cooperation? How do we turn concerns into hope? How do we work in education to create a mindset centered on life as a whole?

18:00 - Education Market
Prior to the election and during the break, several organizations will provide insight into their teaching materials and activities around sustainability education. Their expertise ranges from climate talks and outdoor education to making school environments more sustainable and building teacher networks to share expertise. During the education fair, there is also plenty of room to network and learn from each other.
18.30 - Panel discussion: we will engage with the leaders in sustainable education!
During this evening, the question "Who can call themselves the most sustainable teacher 2025?" will, of course, take center stage. We will hear who the jury has chosen as the winner and what the top 3 looks like. In addition, we will talk to all nominees from the PO, VO, MBO and HBO/WO. Where are the opportunities, what are the challenges and what is the urgency of sustainable education in this society? Be inspired by the Sustainable Teachers 2025!
19.15 - Music from Coast Guard
Coast Guard is a musical collective that brings socially critical and climate-conscious music to life with powerful lyrics and beats. Their songs combine energetic rap and vocals with which they highlight current themes around climate and sustainability. On stage, they transform social issues into compelling performances that touch and inspire. With passion they strive for awareness and change. Get carried away by their music and discover how art can contribute to a more sustainable future.

Nature is a part of our society, though it is often forgotten. In the Court of the Future, the earth has its say. A theatrical experience in which 35 participants meet in the Court of the Future.

Throughout the evening, there will be plenty of opportunities to network with teachers, school leaders and experts and organizations in the field of sustainable education. But the informal celebratory drinks after the awards ceremony is really the place to make new contacts. At ten o'clock still not finished talking?
